Great, turn-out, great company, great conversations, great scenery, great hike! Did I mention everything was great?!

Jen and I had planned this 10.3 mile round trip hike on the Pacific Crest Trail from Three Points to Cloudburst Summit months ago and I’m so glad it finally happened. Met some new folks, saw some old friends and got caught up, while getting a good workout; starting at almost 6000′ and ending up over 7000′ at our turnaround point.

One fascinating thing: the poodle-dog bush was blooming like crazy, I’ve not seen so much (and with flowers on it!) in years — not since after the Station Fire.
