On October 1, Kathy Brizzard led her provisional hike from Chantry Flats. She generously began the outing a half hour prior to hiking with Peet’s Coffee and assorted Noah’s Bagels for everyone!
Eric made a splash, arriving in his Mercedes convertible just to show his support of the new leader. A broken foot prevented his hiking past the picnic area. Diane was the sweep for this hike that nine women completed.
From start to finish, Kathy is a congenial leader. We began our introductions in a novel and fun way. Her pace was perfect for a Sunday morning nature sortie. Everyone enjoyed the fall colors and tall trees of the Winter Creek loop.
Having passed her PROVISIONAL hike, Kathy Brizzard will be a great asset for GLS.
