Item 1 – Interest bearing accounts for GLS funds
Savings – Jeff J. asked Morgan Goodwin how some other Angeles Chapter groups are handling their accounts. Apparently, the Sierra Club as a whole is working on centralizing Chapter accounts, and it is expected that this will be complete in a couple of years. In the meantime, Tom will research which CDs and high-yield savings accounts might be appropriate for GLS funds.
Item 2 – Contribution to Angeles Chapter
Jen will email Tammie and ask her to transfer the $1,100 donation to the Angeles Chapter that we voted on last meeting.
Item 3 – Camp Glenwood and potential GLS campout
Nancy had contacted Camp Glenwood, which is off Highway 2 near Mt. Waterman, to see if we would be able to hold a GLS campout there. While they generally don’t rent out the space, they were open to the idea. Nancy will meet the camp director there at the end of April to view the cabin space to determine if it will work for us.

The next management committee meeting is scheduled for May 13th at 7pm.
