Item 1 – Website Changes
Jeff and Tammie met and made some updates to the GLS website, https://glstracks.org
Item 2 – GLS website fees
Tammie has been incurring annual costs for the website of approximately $100. GLS will reimburse her.
Item 3 – Meetup / Outreach
Nancy has been noting issues / bugs with Meetup. She has been reporting these via help desk tickets. Alternatives to Meetup were discussed. Currently, there isn’t a direct alternative; however, we may be able to broaden our reach and messaging in other ways. Jen volunteered to build a GLS presence on Instagram hopefully to provide another avenue to announce our outings and have people find us.
Item 4 – Holiday Party
Tom will pick up lasagna from Costco – one veggie and one meat. Attendees will need to bring serving utensils for their dishes. Jen will do the 50/50 raffle. Jeff will run the photo contest. Jen will be sweep for the lights walk after the party.
Item 5 – Volunteer Leader Briefing
Nancy attended and gave the committee updates.
Next meeting
The next management committee meeting is scheduled for November 20th at 7pm.
