We’d been having a lot of June gloom lately, but luckily the weather gods were with us for our sunset moonrise hike up Westridge on June 27. There was so much sun as we hiked up to the Nike Tower that we were sweating, but then a cool breeze kicked in at the top. A few minutes after we left our dinner spot, I spotted the rising moon, yay! And then the sun did its colorful magic as we hiked back to the cars.
