Here’s the report from the July/August 2001 issue of TRACKS, 25 years ago, about one of the famous Susan Lucille Campo-organized GLS adventures in the Grand Canyon.
Notice the photos included in the article. These are some of the first photos used in TRACKS, photocopied from snapshots, I believe. Digital photography had not generally arrived in 2001.
The article had no byline in TRACKS but I believe it was written by Eric Sas, the newsletter editor at the time. Eric is kneeling front and center in the first photo.
